Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness therapy can help anyone, especially those who are new to the practice of mindfulness. It can help people with mental health issues like depression, addiction, anxiety, and other mental conditions. It can also help you if you have physical problems that are causing or caused by your mental health issues. MBT such as meditation, breath work, mind-body-spirit integration helps open the mind and body to increase self-awareness and enhance healthy connection to thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations.

 Nature Based Play Therapy

Nature-based play therapy: Research studies show that being in nature has a restorative and revitalizing impact. Nature-based play therapy helps children discover their inherent resilience and strength by connecting play, the “language of children,” to the outdoors. If your child struggles with poor self-esteem, has difficulty with emotional regulation, is easily discouraged or frustrated, or finds social relationships challenging, nature-based play therapy could be a great fit.

Grief/Loss/Bereavement

Grief is unique, complex, and painful. Each individual experiences it differently. The same is with bereavement (intense grief) and loss which could include life changing events such as the loss of a job or divorce. When the grieving process spirals into deep sadness, interferes with daily life, creates feelings of immense pain and hopelessness, we at CCC can help you make sense of your experiences and provide you with healthy coping skills. EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) uses your brain’s natural healing abilities to lessen the impact of disturbing events so they no longer hold the same power over you, and helps you move forward with more positive beliefs about yourself and life. Individuals who experience the power of EMDR often notice their bodies lighter and their thoughts clearer after strengthening their resources and working through difficult memories. Whether something happened many years ago or yesterday, EMDR can provide relief.

Sensory Processing Sensitivity

Highly sensitive people experiencing SPS have a heightened sense of awareness of their "inner and outer worlds" that may cause mental, emotional, physical, and social dysregulation. If you are experiencing SPS and need a calm and safe space to process, we are here to support you make sense of your "inner world" and provide coping skills to navigate the "outer world".

Animal Assisted Therapy

Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) is an experiential therapy that has been shown to have multiple benefits including lowering stress and anxiety, helping to regulate emotions, providing comfort, and improving self-esteem and trust.
