A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

Taking that first step on your healing journey with therapy can be scary, but you don't have to do it alone. My approach to therapy is to come alongside you on your healing journey and collaborate together to facilitate change. You are the expert of your story, and together we can work to help you rewrite it into a more empowering narrative. My passion is in helping others discover their strengths and wisdom from their struggles along the way as well as utilizing them within the healing process.

I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University, am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) pursuing licensure, and EMDR trained.

I have seen the power of therapy to transform lives through working with adolescents and adults at an inpatient facility for the past two years.  Working with those in crisis, whether it be from self-harm, suicidality, homicidality, trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief, and substance impairment, has given me a first hand look at the power of clients to work through their struggles and grow in the process.

I work from a strengths-based, affirming, person-centered approach. I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University, am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) pursuing licensure, and EMDR trained.  I utilize an integrative approach that blends aspects of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients learn the skills, process the emotions/core beliefs, and rewrite their story.  I would never take a client some place that I am not willing to go myself. I would be honored to have an opportunity to provide a space for you to collaborate together  on your healing journey.
