Jason Haynes is a National Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. He has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University.

Jason desires to engage individuals, couples, and families in a way that inspires healing, growth, and renewal. Through a grace-filled therapeutic relationship, He hopes to care for the souls of his clients by acknowledging them as persons of value and worth and addressing them in the deepest and most profound aspects of their lives. Within this relationship, we will process experiences in a way that can both bring freedom from past and present wounds as well as empower for the future.

Hear the faint chattering of the songs that are to come.

–Wendell Berry

We are all living a story, and just like any good narrative, our chronicles are filled with characters that enter and exit our lives, diverse settings, as well as twists and turns of the plot. Along the way, we face conflict - with those closest to us, with the workings of the world, and within ourselves. We long for understanding, resolution, and realization of the intention and purpose we were designed for.

I believe that the human story is one of attaining freedom and experiencing flourishing. Freedom is the ability to act or change without constraint, but we experience limitations, don’t we? We have lingering wounds from our earliest experiences. We face challenging relationships with others. We attempt to advance in opposition to the sorrow, fear, and anger that reside within us.

Our original design is one of flourishing - to find fulfillment, accomplish meaningful objectives, and connect with others in the deepest parts of our being – to experience the fullness of life. Yet flourishing is only possible if we are free, and breaking free is challenging and wearisome to achieve on our own.

As your therapist, my role is to enter your story and listen attentively with a non-judgmental and unconditional ear. To walk alongside you in support, collaborate on a framework for problem-solving, and empower you to move forward on your own.

It is my privilege to work with clients on personal and relational health, healing attachment wounds, and discovering a secure sense of identity while learning to navigate and cope with the emotional distress brought on by anxiety, depression, resentment, sensitivity, grief, and neglect.

You can experience freedom. You can flourish into the person you were meant to be. I look forward to joining you on your journey.
