Hannah Boos MA, LPC, NCC, CPTT
I have a passion to work with adolescents (16+) and adults on an individual basis who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, identity development, life transitions, and spirituality. I also have a desire to help those who have experienced infidelity and sexual betrayal heal from their experiences. I utilize a trauma-informed therapy, psychodynamic, mindfulness, interpersonal, and EMDR therapy. First and foremost, my goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment where you can begin your journey of healing, progress, and growth.
My heart as a counselor is to create a safe and caring environment for my clients where they feel accepted and can begin healing. In creating that environment, I hope to build a relationship where my clients feel supported and that we collaborate in their healing journey. I believe that the experiences and relationships in childhood and adolescence have a profound impact on our lives as adults including our thoughts, emotions, values, identity, and worldview. I have a BS in Psychology and an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). During my clinical internship I worked in both private practice and the outpatient unit of a psychiatric hospital. Along with my master's, I pursued and received a certificate in trauma counseling. I am currently a Certified Partner Trauma Therapist (CPTT) and an EMDR therapist.
